1 NAIROBI/MASAI MARA Meeting with our guide after breakfast and departure to Masai Mara Game Reserve driving across the Rift Valley. Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Overnight tented safari camp.

2 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE Full day spent with game drives through the varied ecosystems of the Reserve, taking our time to observe the different animal behaviours. Overnight tented safari camp.

3 MASAI MARA/LOITA HILLS ILTUROT Leaving the reserve in the morning we make our way to the park gate, game viewing on the way. Tucked into the south western corner of Kenya, the Loita Hills form an island of indigenous forest and rolling hills rising up into the western escarpment of the Rift Valley. Arrive at IlTurot Camp in the afternoon. Evening walk on the edge of the forest, accompanied by a Masai guide, time permitting. Overnight IlTurot Camp FB

4 ILTUROT LOITA HILLS you may simply relax enjoying the view from the camp, or join the activities offered. Accompanied by Masai guides, you can visit surrounding traditional Masai villages on foot or by vehicle. Nature walks into the forest are also offered. The Loitan Masai have a long tradition of using local plants & trees for medicinal and everyday purposes, guides will explain the various uses and remedial properties. Overnight IlTurot Camp FB

5 LOITA HILLS/SHOMPOLE GROUP RANCH Leaving the camp after breakfast, we drive down the rocky escarpment and through cultivated fields before arriving in the Enkutoto Group Ranch. Picnic lunch on a river bank under huge shady indigenous trees. Late afternoon walk along the river or relax at the lodge. Overnight Loisiijo Lodge FB

6 LOISIIJO LODGE SHOMPOLE GROUP RANCH Within the famous Rift Valley, the Ewaso Ngiro River flows from the highlands of the Mau escarpment into the soda lake of Lake Natron. Activities for the day include game drives in the Shompole Conservation Area. This conservation area is a fine example of Community owned conservation. You can see a wide variety of wildlife including oryx, elephant, buffalo, eland, giraffe, gazelle & lion, against the dramatic backdrop of the Nguruman escarpment. Nature walks and cultural visits accompanied by Masai guides are included in your stay at Loisiijo. Overnight Loisiijo Lodge FB

7 LOISIIJO LODGE SHOMPOLE/NAIROBI Heading to Lake Magadi after breakfast we take time to explore the surroundings including the hot springs, the birdlife at Bird Rock and the beauty of the pink soda lake. After a picnic lunch we return to Nairobi driving up the east escarpment of the Rift Valley onto the Ngong Hills before arriving back in the city.
